Guruji Swami Haridhos Giri gave a lot of importance to the study of Vedas and the scriptures and encouraged children to study the Vedas. The Veda Patshala in Arunachala Nilayam houses students and imparts Vedic studies to them.

Study of the Vedas is imparted to children at a very early age under an efficient learned Veda teacher. They are also taught English & Sanskrit and given training in Namasankirthan. This enables the youngsters to grasp the various spiritual aspects of our religion.
