Profile of GA Trust
His Holiness Swami Haridhos Giri — popularly known as Guruji — was the chief disciple of Swami Gnanananda Giri of Thapovanam. He established the GA Trust in the year 1984, laying the foundation for a vibrant spiritual and social welfare complex at Thennangur.
Objectives of the Trust
To spread the spirit of Namasankirtana worldwide.
Created a full-fledged ashram complex housing Sri Pandurangan Rakhumayi Temple, Shrine for Sathguru Gnanananda, Mahashodasi Temple, and Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple — fulfilled with Samprokshanam in 1996.
The Namasankirtana Mandapam — a great hall — has been constructed for regular Bhajan sessions.
The GA Trust built "Guruji Medical Centre & Hospital", a lifeline for Thennangur and surrounding villages.
A Library is maintained for the benefit of devotees and the community.
A Gosala for Gosamrakshanam, a Veda Patasala, and a Home for Senior Citizens are maintained.
True to Guruji's teaching — "serve food for all" — the Annadhana Hall was built for daily Annadhanam.

How to Reach Thennangur
Thennangur is a village in Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai district, Tamil Nadu. It is 70 km from Thiruvannamalai, 110 km from Chennai, 6 km from Vandavasi, and 70 km from Villupuram.
By Road
Thennangur is on State Highway 116 between Kanchipuram and Vandavasi. Frequent buses from Villupuram, Vandavasi, Thiruvannamalai, Kanchipuram, Chengalpet and Chennai. Bus routes 104 & 148 from Chennai connect directly.
By Train
The nearest railway station is at Villupuram, approximately 70 km from Thennangur. From Villupuram, buses and taxis are available to reach the ashram.
By Air
The nearest airport is Chennai International Airport, approximately 110 km from Thennangur. Cab and bus services are available from the airport.
